Jon Bogie

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I was born and raised in Evanston, IL, where my parents still live. Growing up, my hobbies included swimming, playing tuba and guitar, and collecting comic books. I have one brother, Stuart, who is a professional musician in New York City. My wife Beth and I live in Northbrook with our two daughters, Lily and Elloway, and our devoted dog Zoey. During my career I was:

  • a 3rd/4th grade aide in Skokie for 2 years

  • a substitute teacher for a few months

  • a 5th grade teacher in North Chicago for 1 year

  • a 4th grade teacher at Winkelman School, in Glenview for 10 years

  • an assistant principal and interim princpal for Apollo School in Des Plaines for 2 years

  • principal for of Adler Park School in Libertyville for 3 years

  • and am a 4th grade teacher at Linclon School in North Shore School District 112 since 2013

In all my time in education, I have learned that the future truly has no limits. My greatest joy is to see children grow, learn, and achieve their highest potential. I couldn't be happier at Lincoln School and the new home I have found.

PFL,

Mr. Bogie
